  • Tennessee Songwriters Week (Jan. 25-Feb. 7) will feature emerging songwriters performing original songs at over 60 state venues. Top performers will advance to showcase events, including the Franklin Theatre event (Feb. 26) that will lead to a final show at Bluebird Cafe in March.  Williamson County Source

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in Tennessee increased by five cents last week to average $2.49 per gallon, which is 31 cents lower than a year ago. AAA said that weekly fluctuations remain modest and drivers continue to benefit from lower pump prices than last year.  Williamson County Source

  • The Titans interviewed two head coach candidates on Monday in Nashville—Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh. They met with 15 candidates during the search for the new coach.  Williamson County Source
