COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ OneGenAway provided 48,000 meals and 480 boxes of food to help local families after the winter storm. The nonprofit will host its mobile food pantry (Saturday, Jan. 31 at Centennial High School from 7:30-10) while GraceWorks Ministries has reopened to offer emergency food boxes to families facing higher expenses. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials in Franklin announced that Pinkerton Park (closed due to fallen trees and icy trails) and Freedom Run Dog Park (closed after a fallen tree damaged its fence) are temporarily shut following storm damage while K-9 Korral Dog Park remains open; updates on repairs will follow. - ➤ Franklin Tomorrow’s Breakfast With the Mayors event is rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Rolling Hills Community Church at 1810 Columbia Ave. starting at 7 a.m. Franklin Mayor Ken Moore and Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson will join the networking breakfast + live broadcast. - ➤ Soldiers with the Tennessee National Guard are assisting emergency responders amid severe winter weather by clearing debris and transporting personnel across Middle and West Tennessee near Franklin today — as directed by the state Emergency Management Agency. They helped stranded motorists and set up warming centers in affected counties. Williamson County Source

- ➤ County health inspectors reported that local hotels, food services and pools earned perfect 100 scores after inspections from Jan. 21 through 28, 2026 (including establishments like Candlewood Suites and Life Time pools). Williamson County Source
- ➤ The Health Department inspected food service establishments in Williamson County from Jan. 21-28 and released the lowest scores with scores (737, 925, 931) for Suki Sushi Restaurant, Edley's Berry Farms BBQ and Pei Wei Asian Diner.
