- ➤ A new State Farm customer care site is open in Franklin at Lowe’s parking lot on Mallory Lane, available Monday — Saturday from 7 a.m. — 7 p.m. CT for customers to file claims and get assistance. Williamson Herald

- ➤ Carole Robinson has dedicated her career to sharing local stories that honor community members and veterans after joining the Williamson Herald in 1990; she was named an Honorary Life Member of Vietnam Veterans of America in recognition of her work, and her colleagues value her commitment that feels like family. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents visiting the county landfill must pay by cash or check because the landfill scale is frozen and the credit card reader is down (county officials say the measure is temporary) until systems are restored. Williamson County Source
- ➤ The City of Franklin began cleaning up storm debris after severe weather, starting in flatter neighborhoods and planning to cover all areas; residents are advised to leave at least five feet clearance (for safe access) around brush and garbage containers. Williamson County Source
