- ➤ Williamson County Clerk issued new business licenses from Jan. 26 to Feb. 2 for a variety of local services, including Autumn's Donuts on Violet Dr and a restaurant on Murfreesboro Rd in Franklin. The update reflects growing business activity in our community. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Middle Tennessee's first TOUS les JOURS will open later this spring at 600B Frazier Drive in Franklin. The tech-savvy sisters have converted the former Genghis Grill space into a French bakery offering pastries, breads & handcrafted beverages with a grand opening celebration planned soon. - ➤ Rising singer Jenna Paulette released her 20-track deluxe album Horseback and signed with The Erv Woolsey Company for management last Friday—Jan. 30. The Texas native takes a major step forward in her music career. Williamson County Source
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ AAA said that despite winter weather causing localized outages (including power disruptions) TN gas prices fell three cents to $2.51 a gallon last week, marking a 29-cent decrease from a year ago. Experts expect near-term prices to remain lower with some volatility possible. Williamson County Source
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Officer Cody Richardson was sworn in this week by Chief Dale Armour as Nolensville PD's newest team member. A Marshall County native with military and law enforcement experience — including eight years in the U.S. Army and service with the Sheriff’s Office — Richardson is set to support the local community. - ➤ The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says Crisis Cleanup is helping residents with winter storm damage through a hotline at 844-965-1386; assistance for issues like fallen trees and mold removal is available until Feb. 13. Williamson County Source
