- ➤ The Mother-Son Dinner Date: Boot Scootin' Boogie will be held Sunday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at Deer Run Camps & Retreat Center in Thompson's Station and offers outdoor activities, a campfire, a wagon ride, conversation starters, and a candlelit dinner to help moms and boys build lasting memories. - ➤ Acclaimed artist John Carter Cash unveils his new exhibit Dark Hallways at Southern Underground Gallery (4208 Old Hillsboro Road, Suite 6 in Leiper's Fork) with a 5:00 p.m. CT opening reception on Friday, Feb. 13; he will paint live as guests bid on his artwork to support SOS Children’s Villages International.
