  • Saddle Up! has named Tina Doniger as its new CEO as Audrey Kidd retires after nearly five years leading the program. Doniger, with 25+ years of nonprofit experience, will guide the growth of the equestrian therapy program across Middle Tennessee.  Williamson Herald

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Franklin Police will hold two CarFit events at Somerby Franklin to help older adult drivers adjust their vehicles for safety. The sessions will run on Wednesday, Mar. 11 at 1:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Apr. 29 at 1:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.  Williamson County Source

HEALTH NEWS

  • Food safety inspectors in Williamson County reported that local food establishments earned a perfect score of 100 during inspections from Feb. 25 to March 4 & scores from sites in Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill and College Grove are posted for public review.  Williamson County Source
  • The Williamson Health Foundation will host the second installment of its Men’s Health Series on Tuesday, March 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Back Nine Golf (100 Cool Springs Blvd., #300), where expert panelists will discuss chronic pain management and sports injury prevention; tickets cost $25.  Williamson County Source
