  • Women of Williamson raised nearly $50K at the 2025 Lunch That Matters fundraiser and distributed the funds to six local nonprofits supporting women and children. The group announced the next event will be held on Nov. 19 at the Hilton Franklin Cool Springs.  Williamson Herald
  • Today, members of the FBI Nashville Citizens Academy Alumni Association toured with Jamie Melton and Captain Josh Melton from the Franklin Fire Department, who explained why Franklin has one of the state's top fire stations.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • Mark your calendar for the 85th Annual Middle TN Strawberry Festival, starting Friday, May 8 with live music & food vendors and Nashville Yacht Club headlining a Strawberry Jam Concert with fireworks at 8:30pm. Saturday, May 9 features 250+ vendors, multiple music stages, a kids’ area and a 4pm parade.  Williamson County Source
  • The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music (opened Oct. 2025) is now designated on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail, TDTD announced. Community leaders recently celebrated the inclusion with a ceremony featuring prayers and a live performance that honored gospel music’s role in the civil rights movement.  Williamson County Source
