- ➤ Williamson County Schools DECA students will head to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, from April 26 to 29 after earning top honors at the State Career Development Conference in Chattanooga from February 25 to 28. - ➤ Demolition began late last week on vacant buildings along Columbia Avenue in downtown Franklin as part of the Margin District project, which will feature local retail, office space and 25 condominium units. The project incorporates the Handy Hardware building and is slated for a groundbreaking in spring with completion scheduled in 2027 — drivers may experience traffic disruptions when utility work begins on Cummins Street.
