  • Visit Franklin's Golden Ticket Giveaway returns to offer a chance to win a $1,600 vacation package—which includes a two-night stay at The Harpeth Hotel, tickets for the Franklin Hop Trolley Tour, Civil War home tours, and various gift cards—for those who request one of the new 2025 vacation guides by March 31st; 24 more winners will receive additional prizes at local attractions.  Williamson County Source
  • CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin will host the Nashville Spring Craft & Vendor Market on Saturday, April 5 from 10 am to 8 pm — and on Sunday, April 6 from 12 pm to 6 pm — featuring local vendors and seasonal treats.  Williamson County Source
  • The Williamson County Master Gardeners Association will host its Spring Garden Festival and Plant Sale on April 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Williamson County Ag Expo Park West Side—rain or shine, visitors can buy plants grown by Master Gardeners, shop for home and garden items, and enjoy food trucks, educational speakers and vendors supporting the annual fundraiser mission.  Williamson County Source

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Williamson County Schools DECA students will head to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, from April 26 to 29 after earning top honors at the State Career Development Conference in Chattanooga from February 25 to 28. The students—who include leaders from Brentwood, Page and Summit high schools—advanced in several competitive events in business, finance and automotive services.  Williamson County Source

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Demolition began late last week on vacant buildings along Columbia Avenue in downtown Franklin as part of the Margin District project, which will feature local retail, office space and 25 condominium units. The project incorporates the Handy Hardware building and is slated for a groundbreaking in spring with completion scheduled in 2027 — drivers may experience traffic disruptions when utility work begins on Cummins Street.  Williamson Herald

SPORTS NEWS

  • Today the Titans signed running back Julius Chestnut to a new contract; the undrafted free agent played in 22 games over three seasons and helped on special teams—he now joins running backs Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears and Jabari Small.  Williamson County Source
