  • Freedom Intermediate School and Freedom Middle School are hosting the Freedom Benefit Concert featuring O’Shea and Friends on Friday, April 4 at the Turner Theater in The Factory at Franklin—doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m., with all proceeds benefiting the schools.  Williamson County Source
  • The Easter Bunny is visiting CoolSprings Galleria starting March 21st so families can take free photos at Center Court in front of Dillard’s — pet photo sessions are held on Mondays. The mall is hosting a free Easter Eggstravaganza with face painting, games, a DJ and food from California Pizza Kitchen and will be closed on Easter Sunday.  Williamson County Source

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A Franklin Fire Department truck was hit by another vehicle on I-65 while it was responding to an earlier crash today—no injuries were reported—and emergency responders quickly cleared the roadway.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • Franklin novelist Robert Inman will sign his new book Villages at Landmark Booksellers during downtown Franklin’s Main Street Festival on April 26th from 1 pm—2:30 pm. The event will offer fans a chance to meet the author and learn more about his story of hope, courage, and healing.  Williamson County Source

SPORTS NEWS

  • The NHL, NHLPA and Live Nation announced that the Predators will join the 2025 NHL Global Series Sweden by playing two regular season games against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Avicii Arena in Stockholm—one on Nov. 14 at 1:00 p.m. CT and another on Nov. 16 at 8:00 a.m. CT. Smashville Loyal members received an email with an interest form on March 18, and ticket presales begin on March 25 at 4:00 a.m. CT with general sales starting on March 26 at 4:00 a.m. CT.  Williamson County Source
  • The Titans signed veteran edge rusher Lorenzo Carter, who played for the Giants and Falcons and tallied key stats during his NFL career. He became the tenth free agent signed by the team this offseason.  Williamson County Source
