- ➤ Families visiting Pinkerton Park now may use a new communication board at the playground to help children (and others) with speech differences express needs. The project, a joint effort by the City, Rise Up Therapies, and Friends of Franklin Parks, promotes inclusive play. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Williamson Health’s photo of the day shows a daisy and baby bumblebee wearing handmade outfits by EMS team member Debi Reynolds to honor the DAISY and BEE Awards. The feature invites local photographers to submit original photos. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Franklin native Alicia Bell, CEO of GraceWorks Ministries, was named to the Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 class on March 19, honoring her nearly decade-long leadership and service in the local business community (a proud milestone for Franklin talent). Williamson Herald
- ➤ Whataburger opened its second location at 3075 Mallory Lane on March 24 in Franklin. The new restaurant features a double drive-thru, digital menus, and special giveaways and will serve customers Monday–Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will not take place at Harlinsdale Farm in 2026 and organizers plan to return with the event in 2027. Local businesses and attendees (who depend on the festival) await details on future venue arrangements. Williamson Herald
- ➤ Last week the Franklin Rodeo was honored with a Senate Joint Resolution for its 75th year with state officials and community members gathering at the Capitol. The rodeo will take place May 14-16 at Williamson County Ag Expo Park with shows starting at 7 pm each night. Williamson Herald
- ➤ Local talents Jordan McCullough and Lucas Leon competed on Season 24 of American Idol at Aulani, a Disney Resort in Ko Olina, on Monday, March 23 — results will be revealed on Friday, March 28. Williamson County Source
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Department of Health reported that food service establishments in Williamson County received their lowest scores during routine inspections from March 18 to 25. In Franklin, venues such as GRAYS on Main and LA SOLEDAD TAQUERIA posted low marks (scores are available for public review at each location). Williamson County Source
