  • This weekend, several events will take place in Williamson County and nearby areas. In Franklin, Westhaven Neighborhood will host Whiskey Warmer on April 5 at 6 p.m. to benefit the Westhaven Foundation, Brentwood will offer a wildflower hike on April 5 at 9:30 a.m., St Philip Catholic Church in Franklin will stage Cowboys and Cupcakes with Clay Walker on April 6 at 6 p.m., the Williamson County Ag Expo Center will hold a garden festival from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Columbia will celebrate the 51st Mule Day Festival from April 5 to 7.  Williamson County Source

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The National Weather Service warned that heavy rains, strong winds, and possible tornadoes will cause life-threatening flash floods in Middle Tennessee through Sunday morning—residents in Franklin and nearby towns should stay alert as more storms are forecast to bring additional rainfall and dangerous road conditions.  Williamson County Source
