  • The Franklin Makers Market returns to the Lake at Westhaven on Saturday, May 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., featuring over 100 artisan vendors, local food trucks & a new Pups Pop Up area for dogs and their owners.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • Six live music shows will take place this week in Franklin and Nashville, including a Disney-themed jazz performance at Franklin Theatre on Thursday at 7 pm (tickets available) and a Grand Ole Opry celebration on Tuesday at Opry House. Shows feature Styx, Hunter Hayes-Franklin Jonas, Ben Rector, and Howie Day.  Williamson County Source

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Franklin Transit will offer free rides on all fixed routes on Wednesday, Apr. 22 for Earth Day. The bike-friendly buses feature racks for bikes so passengers can combine biking and busing to help protect the environment.  Williamson County Source
