- ➤ On May 14, the Down-in-the-Dirt Free Family Night—an auxiliary event to the Franklin Rodeo—will be held at Williamson Co. - ➤ Visit Franklin is hosting a free block party on May 8 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Visitor Center in downtown Franklin to mark National Travel & Tourism Week — the event will offer food from Waldo’s Chicken and Beer, specialty mocktails from The Fab Tap, music by DJ Doug Griffin, a 1977 Volkswagen Bus photo booth, and surprise giveaways including $10 gift credits for the first 200 guests.
