  • Franklin Special District’s Food & Culinary Services will offer free breakfast and lunch for children and teens 18 and younger at Johnson Elementary School from May 27 to July 24. The meals will be served Monday—Friday (closed June 30 until July 4) with no sign-up required and parents can join their children.  Williamson County Source

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On May 16, Tennessee Wildlife Federation held its 60th Annual Conservation Achievement Awards in Nashville—honoring 19 individuals and groups for their work to protect Tennessee’s natural resources, including key partners behind the 5,400-acre Wolf River State Forest project.  Williamson County Source

HEALTH NEWS

  • Williamson County released its latest health inspection scores for local food service and pool establishments — the scores come from routine and follow-up inspections conducted from May 13th to May 20th, and inspection reports are posted for public review at county health department offices.  Williamson County Source
  • Department of Health records show that the lowest food inspection scores in Williamson County were recorded between May 13th and May 20th, 2025—Brown Bag Cool Springs on May 15th, Southall Production Kitchen and Southall Event Center on May 20th—with other locations also inspected during that period.  Williamson County Source
