- ➤ Williamson County Fair is accepting nominations for its 2026 Hometown Heroes Recognition — honoring local active military and veterans who have positively impacted the community. Nominees must attend the August 15 award ceremony on the Nissan Stage, and submissions close July 10. Williamson County Source
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, a fire in the memory care unit at the Somerby residential care facility at 870 Oak Meadow Dr was quickly contained by a sprinkler system so that firefighters could control the blaze and residents sheltered safely while damage was limited to a few rooms. Williamson Herald

- ➤ Graduation ceremonies at Franklin High and Centennial High were held outdoors this weekend even as heavy rain drenched students, families (and staff) during celebrations.
