  • Landmark Booksellers in downtown Franklin will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Tuesday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m. during a special outdoor event—featuring live entertainment and refreshments. The bookstore, founded in 2005 by Joel and Carol Tomlin, is housed in an iconic 1808 building—an enduring part of the city’s history.  Williamson County Source
  • Bicentennial Park in downtown Franklin will hold its grand opening on June 18 with a ceremony at 4 p.m. at 400 5th Ave N as the park offers an open-air pavilion, a historic plaza, picnic areas, and a restored dust collector from the Old Georgia Boot Factory + available parking in city garages and on site.  Williamson County Source

  • On July 4 at 2 p.m., famous author Jeff Barry will sign his book 'Go to Hell Ole Miss' at Landmark Booksellers in Franklin + answer reader questions + share insights during Independence Day celebrations.  Williamson County Source
  • FSD Performing Arts Center in Franklin will stage Mary Poppins from Thursday, June 12th until Saturday, June 14th with shows at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The musical, based on the classic Disney film and P.L. Travers books, follows a magical nanny who helps the Banks family reconnect.  Williamson County Source
