- ➤ Happy Backyards is offering custom commercial playgrounds to schools, parks and churches that are built to be safe and long-lasting. The company provides full planning and installation services at its showroom (1800 Galleria BLVD near the Belk Outlet Store). Williamson County Source
- ➤ Perenn Franklin, a bakery, rotisserie and grocery concept set inside the historic Boat House on Main Street, opened on May 31 — serving coffee, tea, pastries and lunch until 2:30 p.m., and its founders Aubrey and Tyler O’Laskey will expand hours to include dinner soon. Williamson County Source

- ➤ A series of Juneteenth events will take place in middle Tennessee from June 14 to June 21, featuring a bike ride at Frankie Pierce Park in Nashville on June 14, a free festival at Historic Hadley Park on June 14–15, and a community breakfast along with a celebration at the McLemore House in Franklin on June 19. Organizers in several counties have planned rides, cultural reenactments, music, food, and local guest speakers — aiming to honor history and bring the community together. Williamson County Source

- ➤ ALDI recalled its Casa Mamita Churro Bites Filled with Chocolate Hazelnut Cream on June 4 because they might contain undeclared milk that can hurt people with milk allergies—stores in 13 states including Tennessee removed the item and told customers not to eat it and to return it for a refund. - ➤ The Tennessee Department of Health released its April report detailing fines and actions against health professionals in Middle Tennessee who broke rules such as practicing with expired licenses and missing required education.
