Registration for competition entries at the Williamson County Fair opens Monday June 16 at 10:00 a.m. CT; participants must pre-enter online following specific rules and deadlines to compete in categories such as culinary, creative and livestock at the fair held at the Ag Expo Park in Franklin — the annual event is scheduled for August 1 to 9 and will feature rides, food and live entertainment.

The Well Coffeehouse will open its first Franklin store at 711 CoolSprings Boulevard on Thursday, June 12.

The grand opening event runs from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m., offering a bounce house for kids, free drip coffee, and scratchers with a guaranteed prize for the first 50 guests while promoting its signature menu and support for clean water projects.

The Harpeth Hotel is hosting the 2nd Annual The Art of Brew’n and BBQ’n Cooking Class on Sunday, June 29th from 3-5 p.m.—Chef Thomas Tuggle of 1799 and Von Wotring of Curio Brewing Company will lead the session on BBQ techniques and craft beer-making while guests receive take-home goodies.
