- ➤ Franklin-based nonprofit OneGenAway is hosting a drive-thru Mobile Pantry event that will provide free groceries, fresh produce, and pantry staples to anyone in need beginning at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers should arrive at 7:30 a.m. — food will be distributed until supplies run out. - ➤ As temperatures soar in Middle Tennessee, Middle Tennessee Electric advises members to raise thermostats, change HVAC filters, turn off lights, and close window coverings (to lower energy use and costs). - ➤ The Well Coffeehouse unveiled a new look at its newest Franklin location that shows its mission to turn coffee into clean water projects — the change began rolling out on June 20 on digital and in-store materials. - ➤ Tecovas will open its downtown Franklin store at 306 Public Square on Friday, June 27th, offering boots, clothing, and leather goods in a setting that provides custom fittings and restoration services. Founded in 2015 by Paul Hedrick, who first sold boots from his SUV, the brand is known for quality craftsmanship and local partnerships with Thomas Rhett and Ranger Station—bringing a signature scent and collaborative spirit to the new location.
