ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Franklin firefighters quickly put out an attached garage fire at a two-story home on Wisteria Drive in Sullivan Farms on June 26 just before 8 p.m.—investigators say an electrical malfunction in a treadmill likely caused the blaze, which resulted in less than $10,000 in damage and no injuries as teens quickly called 911.  Williamson Herald

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Williamson County business licenses issued from June 20th to 27th include new Franklin businesses such as Janae's Beauty Bar, Lux Fitness Llc, Retreat Hair Co, and Tecovas, Inc + several vendors from nearby areas received licenses during this period. The Tennessee County Clerk released the list, which shows new names in cleaning, construction, and pool construction + retail that will shape our local market.  Williamson County Source
  • Hardee’s announced on June 18 that it added two new menu items—the BBQ Pulled Pork Frisco and the Smoked Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit—to its menu in Franklin, showing its partnership with Clifty Farm and Hillshire Farm.   • BoldLine Entertainment announced the second annual Focus: The Conference for Actors will take place at The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin from July 25 to 26 — the event will offer sessions, panels, and a talent showcase for actors aged 5 and up, and tickets are now available at a special rate.  Williamson County Source

  • The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are sharing summer fire safety tips so locals can protect their homes—reminding residents to test smoke alarms, plan escape routes, and follow guidelines when grilling and using gasoline-powered equipment.  Williamson County Source
  • The Franklin Fire and Police Departments remind residents that consumer fireworks—such as sparklers and sky lanterns—are illegal within city limits.
