GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On June 26, Franklin’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen and Municipal Planning Commission discussed the updated plans for two new developments—Aureum with 900 dwelling units and mixed-use spaces, and Ovation featuring over 1,500 units and extensive commercial space—with construction beginning soon on the first apartment building. The meeting also examined proposed changes to the flag ordinance following a resident's complaint, with ideas to allow more temporary stick flags during holidays and special events. Williamson Herald
