CULTURE NEWS

  • The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County completed work on a historic, 100-foot stone wall in the Hunterwood community in Brentwood by hosting free, hands-on workshops last fall with expert Martin Beevers and support from the Hunterwood HOA—over 30 community members helped finish the final 40 feet. Bari Beasley said the project honors a long tradition of local dry stack stone craftsmanship.  Williamson County Source

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On July 1, 2025, new Tennessee laws took effect that boost penalties for crimes like human smuggling, retail theft, and offenses against children and also target online abuse and rideshare impersonation—changes aimed at strengthening public safety and legal protections. HEALTH NEWS

  • In May, the Tennessee Department of Health issued disciplinary actions against 34 healthcare professionals and establishments in Middle Tennessee for violations such as expired licenses, inadequate education, and misconduct affecting patient safety.
