🎓 Education
For the 2025-26 school year, WCS Schools will offer a preventive counseling program where students do not need parental permission for classroom lessons, assemblies, and other Tier I services—families must still provide permission for individual or small group counseling sessions.
Please contact your child's school counselor for more details.
WCS students will have longer recess starting in the 2025-26 school year after a new state law and board policy take effect.
Elementary students must get at least 45 minutes of physical activity daily and middle and high school students will have 90 minutes weekly (walking and electronic device time do not count).
