Williamson County approved new business licenses for several companies between July 20 and July 27, including local services in Franklin plus businesses in nearby areas.

The Tennessee County Clerk provided the details for companies in fields like media consulting and retail.

Tupelo Honey closed its Franklin restaurant at 2000 Meridian Boulevard Monday, July 27 when its lease ended, ending 10 years of service in the community.

Two Rivers Mansion added an 1855 portrait of young Frank McGavock and his family’s olive spoon, donated from the Carnton House collection by the Battle of Franklin Trust, to its exhibits.

Williamson County School Board approved new e-bike rules for the 2026-27 school year that require students to complete a one-hour safety course (with help from a teacher and SRO) before riding to school.
