Waves Inc. will host its fifth annual Brews & Grooves fundraiser on Thursday, Sept.

17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Highwoods Park Place in Franklin, featuring live music by Poor Lisa, local food & interactive activities that support individuals with IDD.

Mellow Mushroom is offering free kids’ meals every Tuesday through October when an adult meal of $15 is purchased plus children 10 and younger get a free plush Mel starting September 8 at participating locations.
