Two local nonprofits are partnering to celebrate National Thrift Day by inviting community members to visit GraceWorks Ministries Thrift Store + The Habitat ReStore on Saturday, Aug.
15; shoppers who complete a punch card at both locations will enter a drawing for certificates on Monday, Aug. 17.

Big Bad Breakfast announced a new restaurant at 330 Franklin Road at Brentwood Place, though no opening date was set.
The chain will bring its Southern-style breakfast-to-lunch menu to Brentwood soon — adding a fifth spot in Middle Tennessee.
🌲 Environment
Storm debris from Saturday evening's heavy rainfall blocked river access near Pinkerton Park under the Highway 96 bridge (Eastern Flank).
The City of Franklin said the Tennessee Department of Transportation will clear the debris before reopening the area.
