Williamson County issued new business licenses from August 15 to August 22 for several local companies including a hair salon in Brentwood, an early education center on Cool Springs Blvd, a nail service, a remodeling firm, and a food truck in Franklin.
The licenses, issued by the Tennessee County Clerk, add to the county's growing business activity.
Hardee’s in Franklin introduced limited-time summer drinks—the Sweet Cherry Shake and Sweet Cherry Lemonade—available now through October 21.
The restaurant also upgraded its Original Bag to include a Spicy Chicken Sandwich in a $6.99 value deal.

Franklin Police Department is relaunching its chaplain program to invite volunteer clergy to provide spiritual support—guidance and comfort during crises and celebrations—to officers and community members.

The Tennessee Titans hosted the Minnesota Vikings in a nationally televised preseason game on August 22 at Nissan Stadium, with both teams holding 1-1 records.
The game came as the Titans returned from a 10-day road trip and they will make final roster cuts by August 26—deciding who will join the 53-man squad for the regular season.
