- ➤ Slim & Husky's officially opened today at The Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Road, after a soft opening over the Labor Day weekend, and customers can now order artisan pizzas online between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. A ribbon-cutting event will be held on September 12 and the restaurant occupies the former Five Daughters space next to Jeni's Ice Cream. - ➤ A former nurse working at a Franklin nursing home was arrested on September 5 for impersonating a licensed professional and fraudulently obtaining controlled substances—she continued working after surrendering her license, according to the TBI investigation. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Several artists are releasing new music this week; Noah Hicks will debut his project Small Town Does on October 10 via Nashville Harbor Records while Lanie Gardner releases her album Faded Polaroids today. Other musicians including Grace Humphries, Drake White, Brantley Gilbert, Zac Brown Band, Jaxson Free, Hunter Metts and Jackson Dean have new singles available now — Brantley Gilbert will perform at FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin this October.
