  • Animal Control Officer Hannah rescued a stray dog named Ladybug from a hole on Monday night when the animal had been trapped for over 24 hours—Animal Center staff are now working to reunite her with her elderly owner.  Williamson County Source

  • The Tennessee County Clerk released the latest business licenses for Williamson County covering September 12–19, 2025—new licenses include businesses such as OceansApparel in Brentwood and Airsage Heating Cooling & Electrical in Franklin.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • Studio Tenn managing director Todd Morgan is stepping down after eight years marked by major growth—he led the opening of Turner Theater inside The Factory at Franklin and record fundraising efforts during the COVID-19 challenges. Interim roles fill the gap as production manager Jayson Campbell becomes interim managing director and Tony McAlister serves as interim executive director, while the theatre will launch its 2025–26 season on October 9 with Dracula.  Williamson County Source

HEALTH NEWS

  • Blood Assurance is urging O—negative blood donors to give soon because their reserves have dropped to a critically low 1—2-day supply needed for emergencies at local hospitals such as Williamson Health. Donors will receive a $25 e—gift card and a chance to win a $500 e—gift card through the end of September.  Williamson Herald
