  • Crumbl is offering a limited-time dessert menu from September 22 to September 27 with flavors like Confetti Cake, Birthday Cake Cookie ft OREO®, Pink Sugar Cookie, Hazelnut Sea Salt Cookie, and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie — each store also features a Secret Menu with a locally chosen flavor available for a short time.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • A vintage event will take place at Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin on October 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Forty vendors will offer vintage and handmade clothing, jewelry and permanent jewelry while free parking is provided and entry costs $5 with free admission for children 12 and under.  Williamson County Source

HEALTH NEWS

  • AquaStar Corp recalled over 85,000 bags of shrimp sold at local grocery chains for possible cesium-137 contamination between June 12 and September 17—consumers are urged to dispose of or return the products for a refund.  Williamson County Source

SPORTS NEWS

  • On September 20th, Cumberland overcame a 17—0 deficit to score three second-half touchdowns and defeat Pikeville 21—17 at Hambley Athletic Complex, improving to 3—1 while Pikeville fell to 0—3.  Williamson County Source
  • The Titans lost 41 to 20 on September 21 at Nissan Stadium to the Colts and fell to an 0 to 3 record — Coach Brian Callahan said the team did not play well amid turnovers that hurt their efforts. Quarterback Cam Ward completed 23 of 38 passes as the loss deepened their season struggles.  Williamson County Source
