- ➤ GraceWorks Ministries will host its 26th Annual Turkey Trot charity run on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, at Meridian Cool Springs. More than 4,000 walkers and runners will participate in 10K, 5K, and Kids’ Turkey Chase events + all proceeds will support services for struggling families in Williamson County. - ➤ Primark will open its first Middle Tennessee store at CoolSprings Galleria on October 30th at 11 a.m.—with giveaways on the mall’s lower level near Belk and live music with local treats planned for the grand opening weekend. The 35,000 square foot store will offer trendy fashion, Tennessee Titans gear, and a Bluey appearance on November 1 to greet fans. Williamson County Source

- ➤ On Sept. 25, the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen and the Municipal Planning Commission reviewed an updated Creekside master plan as planning specialist Heather Eusebio presented details on new pedestrian paths, vehicular access, and amenities like a parking lot and restrooms for the 48-acre property (including the historic Thomas Shute House). If approved on Oct. 23, the plan will guide efforts to create a low-impact, family-friendly public space that honors Franklin's agricultural history. Williamson Herald

- ➤ The Tennessee high school football schedule shows Week 7 games will be played on October 3 for teams from ten counties including Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson and Williamson—viewers can check live scores. Williamson County Source
