The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County will host its 40th annual Pumpkinfest on Saturday, October 25th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Franklin.

The festival will feature family-friendly activities, live music, costume contests, arts & crafts vendors & a shuttle service from The Park at Harlinsdale Farm to help with limited downtown parking.

Santa's Pub, closed after Franklin native Denzel Irwin died in September, will reopen with a birthday bash on Sunday, October 19th from 4 pm until 2:45 am with live music, food and karaoke and $10 cash admission.

Nashville-based songwriter Rooster Blackspur will perform an intimate show at The Mockingbird Theater in Franklin on October 30.

Doors will open at 5 p.m., with VIP seating at 6 p.m. and general admission at 6:30 p.m.; tickets are $10 for general admission and $25 for VIP (which includes a gift bag and a private brunch invitation on November 2 in Old Hickory).

Lotz House in downtown Franklin will host a Walking Battlefield Tour on November 30 at 10:30 a.m. and an Illumination Ceremony at 4:30 p.m.—the event marks the 161st Anniversary of the Battle of Franklin and follows a cookie and cider celebration on November 29 honoring Matilda Lotz's birthday.

Karen Kingsbury signed exclusive copies of her unreleased novel 'The Christmas Ring: A Holiday Romance' at Landmark Booksellers in downtown Franklin on Thursday afternoon, drawing about 500 fans—some of whom traveled from out of state—and her son Emmanuel signed his debut illustrated children's book. The novel will be available on Oct. 21 and its movie will release on Nov. 6.

Tennessee Tech will hold its Tech to You event at Franklin High School's Claude Yates Annex on Oct.

Williamson Health launched a new podcast on Friday, October 10 that features local healthcare experts discussing topics like orthopedics, pulmonology and nutrition — the series debuted with six episodes and will add two new ones each month while planning extra shows for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The first Pink Ribbon Walk will take place this Saturday at Freedom Middle School to raise funds and awareness for teachers fighting breast cancer and honor their support.

Check-in and registration begin at 8 a.m., and the walk starts at 9 a.m.—with free breakfast offered before the event.

Find Hope Franklin will host its second annual Mental Health Summit on Nov.

Residents must pay a $20 registration fee to attend the summit that will address mental health challenges in our community.
