Eligible Tennessee families with a child age 14 or younger can get up to $1,500 in matching funds for college savings through the TIPS program.

The Tennessee Department of Treasury said that when families deposit money in a TNStars 529 account by June 30 the state will match every dollar up to the cap—families are encouraged to apply if they meet income requirements.
