- ➤ On Monday morning, traffic on Horton Lane slowed when a loose horse wandered down the street—Officer Steve Small used his cruiser lights to guide it to West Main Street where ranch hands and Officer Erick Lee safely retrieved it. Williamson County Source
- ➤ At 6:00 p.m. on October 27th at the Williamson County Public Library in Franklin—hosted by the African American Heritage Society of Williamson County—guest speaker Shan Foster, a Vanderbilt legend and community advocate, will share insights from his new memoir What Hurt Didn’t Hinder and his journey of resilience. - ➤ Forza Pilates is set to open its 2,000-square-foot studio at Canteen on Carothers, a mixed-use area developed by Stockbridge Capital Group, at the start of 2026. - ➤ In-N-Out Burger bought nearly two acres in Hermitage for $3.2 million to explore a new Nashville-area outlet— the property is near Old Hickory Boulevard and Andrew Jackson Parkway and is one of up to 35 potential Tennessee sites; the chain is building an Eastern territory office in Franklin that will open next year and create about 275 jobs. - ➤ On Oct. 16, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office held an awards ceremony at Full Life Assembly of God to honor staff for lifesaving actions, long service, and community care—recognizing reserve deputies and others for making a daily impact.
