- ➤ Franklin Police Department is partnering with OneGenAway to host a community food drive that helps local families in need. Community members can drop off non-perishable items at the police lobby (900 Columbia Ave) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and today during PumpkinFest. Williamson County Source
- ➤ The Store, co-founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, will host its third annual Toy Drive in early December to help families facing food insecurity pick free gifts for their children—this event grows as the store doubled its food service to over 2,000 families. - ➤ The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, October 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 408 Century Court in Franklin. Residents can sign up in advance or walk in and receive free snacks—each donation saves lives and earns heroic bragging rights as both first-time and returning donors are urged to participate. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County will host the 40th Annual Pumpkinfest in downtown Franklin from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.—the festival will feature live music, costume contests for pets and families, shopping, and arts and crafts.
