- ➤ Franklin Rodeo is celebrating its 75th year by launching the Franklin Rodeo Plaza project in a partnership with the City of Franklin and the Rotary Club — city officials donated nearly 1.5 acres to build a permanent home for the rodeo statue honoring decades of community tradition. - ➤ Fast-rising country singer Elizabeth Nichols made her Grand Ole Opry debut on (Nov. 1) and performed her hit 'I Got A New One' along with the emotional tribute 'Birthday Candles' to her late mother. - ➤ Grammy Award-winning engineer Brent Maher was interviewed on WAKM Radio on Nov. 5 to discuss his new project 'Night of the Orphan Train' — a musical novel in audiobook form that tells the story of orphaned children moved from eastern cities to the Midwest for adoption. - ➤ The Williamson Health Foundation—the charitable arm of Williamson Health—is launching a Giving Tuesday campaign on Dec. 2 to raise $20,000 that will fund a second bronchoscope at Williamson Medical Center for better lung cancer detection.
