- ➤ Culaccino—locally owned in Franklin since 2021—has opened its second location at Nashville Yards at 900 Commerce Street. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ AAA reports that Tennessee gas prices fell four cents to $2.64 per gallon, making them nearly unchanged from last month but seven cents lower than a year ago — if prices hold, drivers could see the lowest Thanksgiving rates since 2020. - ➤ The Tennessee Department of Education (announced November 21) said that thirty-five Williamson County schools were named Reward Schools for the 2024-25 school year, a record based on tests, grades, and attendance (making them some of the best in the county). Williamson County Source

- ➤ Williamson County will host a virtual community meeting on December 4 at 6 p.m.—residents can join via Microsoft Teams or by phone to review the Safety Action Plan’s findings and recommendations on transportation safety and roadway improvements. Williamson County Source
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Franklin Fire and Life Safety Educator Jamie Melton warned that Thanksgiving is the top day for home cooking fires in the United States and urged residents to stay in the kitchen while frying or grilling, turning off burners when stepping away, and covering pans to smother flames—she stressed that if a small fire develops, evacuate and call 911 immediately. - ➤ Refine Vein Center held a ribbon cutting at 4000 Longpoint Way (Suite 440) in Franklin on November 21. The center, led by board-certified physician Dr. Reynolds, specialized in innovative vein treatments (serving local patients). Williamson County Source

- ➤ Middle Tennessee high school football playoffs continue this week as Division I teams in classes 1A to 6A play semifinal games on November 28, and championship games will be held in Chattanooga from December 4–6.
