  • Studio Tenn will stage White Christmas at Turner Theater inside The Factory at Franklin while running a monthlong food drive to help neighbors in need; a donation bin for non-perishable food items for OneGenAway will be available outside the theater throughout December.  Williamson County Source

  • Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 10, In-N-Out Burger will open its first Middle Tennessee stores in Lebanon and Antioch — another will open in Murfreesboro on Friday, Dec. 12. Each location will serve hamburgers, fries and shakes with fresh ingredients and hire about 75 Associates at $17.50 per hour.  Williamson County Source
  • Pelato, the Brooklyn Italian restaurant, will open its Franklin location in early 2026 at 1914 Galleria Boulevard, the former Party Fowl site. The restaurant will serve old-school pasta dishes, signature Radiatori Vodka, & cannoli chips and dip for local diners.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will perform his live show at FirstBank Amphitheater on Friday, May 8 in Franklin. Tickets go on sale this Friday (Dec. 12 at 10 a.m.).  Williamson County Source

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Williamson County School announced that Executive Director of Communications Carol Birdsong will retire on Jan. 30, 2026 and that Assistant Communications Director Cory Mason will succeed her (Mason has been with the department for 18 years), ensuring the strong legacy continues.  Williamson County Source

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Williamson County Sheriff's Office offers Project Lifesaver, a tracking service to help locate residents with cognitive conditions if they wander. Families are encouraged to sign up using an interest form on the sheriff’s office website for added reassurance.  Williamson County Source
  • On Friday, Dec. 5, Mayor Moore and aldermen rode a free lunch shuttle pilot that began mid-September from Franklin Transit Authority to stops at Mellow Mushroom and The Factory plus returned via Franklin Square; transit coordinator Max Baker expects the six-month program to become permanent pending a study in June.  Williamson Herald

  • The Volunteers will play Illinois in the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl on Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. CT) at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The game will be televised by ESPN.  Williamson County Source
