  • Williamson County released new business licenses last week for local firms including a massage therapy center, hair salon, chocolatier, home repair service, and a construction company in Franklin and nearby towns. CULTURE NEWS

  • Heritage Foundation of Williamson County hosts Dickens of a Christmas today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Downtown Franklin — featuring Victorian characters, live shows, arts & crafts, food vendors, and shuttle service due to limited parking.  Williamson County Source
  • The Franklin Holiday Market runs today from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Factory + Liberty Hall, where locals can shop for unique gifts crafted by skilled artisans and enjoy seasonal drinks in a warm community setting.  Williamson County Source

  • Franklin Fire Battalion Chief Joseph R. Polenzani will retire next week after 33 years in fire service — including 27 with the Franklin Fire Department. A retirement celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. at Franklin Fire Station 2, 907 Murfreesboro Road.  Williamson County Source

  • Williamson Health Medical Group welcomed Peyton Lee, DNP, APRN, to its High-Risk Breast Program to help patients at increased risk for breast cancer.
