ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Williamson County cyclist, Blaise Schaeffer, died last week after being struck on Nolensville Pike by a driver fleeing police, and authorities detained a female passenger for questioning. WSMV 4
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Today the new Photo of the Day feature highlights Downtown Franklin and its historic White Building NOEL sign, originally from a Nashville hotel. Residents are invited to submit original photos with a brief description to celebrate local heritage. Williamson County Source
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Grace Christian Academy celebrated A Night of Giving on Nov. 17 at its high school as community members gathered in worship, prayer, and reflection to support its Building for Generations campaign. School leaders noted a fundraising milestone— $5.2 million raised toward a $20 million goal for future campus expansion. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Williamson Medical Center (Franklin’s flagship facility of Williamson Health) was recently named to Forbes Magazine’s inaugural Top Hospitals 2026 list and earned a five-star rating, making it one of only two Tennessee hospitals (and one of only 253 nationwide) recognized for quality care. - ➤ The Department of Health released Williamson County's food service inspection scores, which include ratings for local establishments like Vintage Vine and Taco Bell in Franklin inspected between Dec. 10 and Dec. 17.
