About this event
Based on real letters written by veterans and their families, The American Soldier is a one-man production that has moved audiences at the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, and stages across 54 cities. Actor Douglas Taurel, whose television credits include The Americans, Blue Bloods, and Chicago P.D., brings unflinching honesty and remarkable range to stories of courage, sacrifice, and the journey home. This is theatre that matters because it's the kind that stays with you long after you leave the building.
