About this event

This Veterans Day, the Franklin Theatre hosts a performance that honors the stories behind the uniform. “ The American Soldier ” is a powerful one-man show by actor Douglas Taurel drawing from actual letters written by veterans and their families to reveal the bravery, sacrifice, and struggle of returning home. The Washington Post calls it “a moving drama that moves audiences to tears” and Military Times says it’s simply “ a must-see .”
