The Boys Next Door, written by Tom Griffin
Directed By: Brad McCrary
Produced By: Britt Penevolpe
A heartfelt and humorous look at the extraordinary lives of ordinary people.
In a communal residence for adults with developmental disabilities, four men navigate friendships, frustrations, triumphs, and everyday challenges with honesty, vulnerability, and joy. As their social worker struggles to balance compassion with burnout, the play reveals the humor and humanity that connect us all.
Tom Griffin’s The Boys Next Door is a warm, deeply moving dramedy that celebrates resilience, dignity, and the beauty found in life’s smallest moments. Blending laughter with poignancy, it reminds us that everyone — no matter their circumstances — deserves to be seen, heard, and loved.
