- ➤ Rising country singer Callie Twisselman made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, Dec. 27 performing two tracks from her debut EP, Growing in Grace, with her family including her grandmother (boarding her first flight in nearly 40 years). - ➤ Gas prices in Tennessee have dropped as the average falls to $2.50 per gallon — 7 cents lower than last month and 24 cents lower than a year ago — while Nashville tops at $2.60 and Morristown bottoms at $2.38, AAA reported. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Franklin’s Main Library will update its Children’s Department in late summer as library leaders ask for public input. Families can share ideas through a survey (open Jan. 5–31) to help improve the reading, learning, and play space. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Williamson County Animal Center announced that starting in January its monthly rabies vaccination clinic will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 10:30 a.m. to ease lobby crowding before 11 a.m. adoptions and will offer free additional vaccinations for pets through Petco Love's Vaccinated & Loved program.
