- ➤ Middle Tennessee Electric had about 8,000 outages affecting western Williamson County as of Jan. 26. Crews worked around the clock to restore power but struggled with fallen trees due to dense vegetation. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Williamson County EMA has shifted warming centers to overnight shelters due to winter weather and changing power needs, making them available now at Fairview High School in Fairview and Franklin High School in Franklin. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Due to icy conditions canceling blood drives in Middle Tennessee, Blood Assurance is offering a $40 e-gift card to donors who give blood from Monday, Jan. 26 to Saturday, Jan. 31 to help keep supplies available for local patient care. Williamson Herald
- ➤ About 99 residents were evacuated from The Rivers at Maryland Farms in Brentwood after a tree fell on the heating system and cut off heat, prompting a multi-agency response; they are now cared for at a local church (food and shelter provided) until heat is restored. Williamson County Source
