GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Franklin crews are clearing storm debris after severe weather boosted brush removal to five times the normal volume. Since January 28, they have collected 1,616 tons and are cleaning neighborhoods like Westhaven and Fieldstone Farms one at a time — residents can contact Sanitation and Environmental Services with questions.  Williamson County Source

HEALTH NEWS

  • Food service businesses in Williamson County received perfect 100 health scores from inspections conducted March 4-11, showing strong food safety standards. The county requires posted reports for public viewing + transparency.  Williamson County Source
  • Williamson County food inspections from March 4 to 11 show that several establishments received the lowest health scores, including Burger Up and The Taco Shop in Franklin. Inspection reports are posted at county health department offices for public review.  Williamson County Source

LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Several regional food and drink updates emerged early in March, including new menu items at Mellow Mushroom and promotions at Raising Cane’s for St. Patrick’s Day. In Franklin, SOS Counter opened at 701 Cool Springs Blvd offering sourdough plus Pelato, an Italian restaurant, launched its second location at CoolSprings Galleria.  Williamson County Source
