- ➤ The Franklin Police Department will host a Coffee with a Cop event on March 31 from 8:30 a.m.—10 a.m. inside the Target at 3064 Columbia Ave to allow community members to speak with officers about local concerns. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Franklin Pride is hosting A Night of Icons today at the Franklin Theatre to raise funds for its annual Pride festival—this event will feature performers like Ty Herndon, Gwen Levey and the Breakdown, DJ Amy Darling, and hosts Braunwyn Spinner and Patrick Custer. Williamson County Source
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Between March 21 and March 28, the Williamson County Clerk approved new business licenses for local firms offering food, clothing, cleaning and contracting services in Franklin, Spring Hill, Murfreesboro and Nolensville — the licenses show a growing mix of services in our area. - ➤ Boyle Investment Company announced that it will acquire the 100,000-square-foot 3000 Meridian Building — a four-story Class A office space at Meridian Cool Springs — in a deal with Northwestern Mutual. The purchase comes as Boyle invests over $20 million to enhance the mixed-use district and strengthen its presence in Williamson County's growing business market. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Columbia State Community College’s Williamson Campus will offer summer camps in July for rising fourth to eighth graders; the camps include BattleBots Robotics Camp for rising sixth to eighth graders on July 7—11, MakerQuest: Game Forge Camp for rising sixth to eighth graders on July 14—18, and Rhythm Retreat Music Camp for rising fourth to sixth graders on July 7—10.
