- ➤ Luke Bryan and Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves celebrated a $1,000,000 donation to The Brett Boyer Foundation during an event with families who benefit from the charity. The donation will be paid as $250,000 per year — over four years — to support research for congenital heart defects and services for affected families. Williamson County Source
- ➤ The Davis House Dash 5K and 1-mile Fun Run will take place on May 17th at 8:30 a.m. at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm to support Davis House Child Advocacy Center, which is celebrating 25 years of service. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Families can join the Spring Family Campout at Stoney Creek Farm on April 26th from 6:00 pm until April 27th at 9:00 am to set up tents and enjoy outdoor fun with a kids’ nature program at 7:30 pm, s’mores around the campfire, and a dance party before bed. - ➤ Arrington Vineyards, which spans 95 acres in Williamson County, is holding the grand opening of its Wine Club House on April 19 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.—guests will enjoy complimentary charcuterie by Simply Living and may see co-owner Kix Brooks welcome wine club members. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Williamson County's health department reported that several food service establishments finished with the lowest health scores during inspections from April 1—8. The report includes routine inspections at Chill Spot, Gyros King, and Uncle Lenny's Country Cafe along with follow-up inspections at Sweet Dreams Bakery and Bubble Tea, Mexicali Grill, and Bluefin Sushi and Thai. - ➤ Williamson County inspectors released health inspection scores from April 1 to April 8 for food service establishments, swimming pools and child care centers in Franklin, Brentwood and nearby towns—scores that give residents a quick look at local health standards. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Taylor Zarzour, who served as the play-by-play man during last August’s University of Tennessee opener in Knoxville for SEC Network, was announced on Monday as the new lead broadcaster for the Titans — replacing longtime voice Mike Keith. Williamson County Source
- ➤ On April 4, Nashville Predators GM Barry Trotz announced that goaltender Magnus Chrona signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 for the upcoming NHL season. Chrona, 24, posted an 11-11-5 record with a .901 save percentage in 29 games with the Milwaukee Admirals and helped the team clinch a playoff spot. Williamson County Source
