- ➤ Lolly Gourmet Pops opened in Franklin on April 12 at Grassland at the former Sunrise Smoothie and Ice location at 1111 Battlewood Street. Marilyn Doore and Steven Smith introduced a menu with gourmet popsicles, smoothies, Acai bowls, open-face toast, quesadillas and dog treats, and the shop also caters events. Williamson County Source
- ➤ A new sandwich shop opened in Franklin at 1311 Murfreesboro Road (its second Middle Tennessee location) when JamBox held a grand opening on April 12th with a free cookie offer and a free ice cream promotion on April 13th. The standalone shop, created by restaurateurs Shane Nasby and Tyler Lechtanski, is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm (hours remain unchanged). Williamson County Source

- ➤ Franklin officials approved a rezoning on April 8 to support the hotel and parking garage development at The Factory District, which covers 20.15 acres and includes plans for 120 hotel rooms. The project aligns with the Envision Franklin plan and received early approval from the Historic Zoning Commission, with construction dates yet to be set. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Franklin Tomorrow announced Breakfast With the Mayors—presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners and Gresham Smith—will take place Tuesday, April 29. Franklin Mayor Dr. Ken Moore, Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson and Property Assessor Brad Coleman will explain how the county's property reappraisal may affect tax rates.
