- ➤ Jim Warren Park will host a free touch-a-truck event on May 16 from 5 PM to 8 PM where children with parent supervision can explore trucks, fire trucks, police cars, and tractors — from 5 PM to 6 PM, a No Horn Hour ensures a safe start for the little ones. - ➤ Franklin Farmers Market will finish its Saturday morning events at the pavilion at The Factory at Franklin at the end of the year and move to Franklin First United Methodist Church (corner of Franklin Road and Mack Hatcher Parkway). The market will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Saturday at The Factory during the peak season. Williamson Herald

- ➤ Little Hats Italian Market has opened its first Franklin location at 980 Meridian Boulevard — a new market offering gourmet sandwiches, housemade pastas and imported Italian specialties. - ➤ Franklin Police Department is stepping up DUI enforcement during Cinco de Mayo celebrations this weekend and on Monday, May 5 — deploying extra patrol units across town — to help keep impaired drivers off the road. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Tennessee Governor Bill Lee declared May as Mental Health Awareness Month to promote equal insurance coverage for mental health treatment plus physical health services.
